An honour to attend the opening services for the Gardens of Remembrance in Glasgow and Edinburgh this weekend.
It was a moving opportunity to come together with the Lord Provost, Armed Forces, Emergency Services, Service Associations and military support organisations to remember those who gave their lives in service.
We will remember them.

I've joined the Veterans Commissioners for Northern Ireland and Wales in issuing a joint statement on the recent amendments to the Northern Ireland Troubles Bill.
We remain committed to working with the UK Government to ensure the legislation provides appropriate protections for those who served.

The Veterans In-Service Injury Network offers specialist clinical reviews for veterans across Scotland when a condition remains a concern after treatment.
I welcome the network’s role in supporting Recommendation 17 in my progress report and improving access to person-centred healthcare.

49% of Naval spouses and partners surveyed said they were not using their skills or qualifications in their current jobs.
Frequent moves, separation and caring responsibilities can all make it harder to build and maintain a career alongside Service life.
These findings from the @navalfamfed support my Veterans and Employment report, which highlighted the need for more flexible and sustainable career opportunities for military spouses and partners.
Their skills should be recognised and properly used.
