Another excellent day at the SAFE&R Conference at #EdinburghNapier today - I heard from a range of speakers, delegates and attendees at a hugely well-attended session on Ex-Service Personnel in the Justice System, which will help inform my upcoming report on Veterans and the Law.

The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo has a nautical theme this year, with the @royalnavy and the @rnrmcharity. I was privileged to attend this spectacular performance and meet some of the outstanding Service personnel from the cast. The show is a stunning international celebration of music, drill, and dance. Crucially, our Serving and veteran communities will benefit from the charitable arm of the REMT.

Excited to attend the first day of the SAFE&R conference 'Identity, Purpose and Belonging' at @edinburghnapier's Craiglockhart campus. The afternoon commenced with an excellent talk on the Scottish Soldier by Professor Sir Hew Strachan. Much more to come over the next six days. #ScotAFConf24
