Very encouraging to hear the range of policy and practice support for Serving people, families and the veteran community. Although there is still work to do to ensure that none are disadvantaged because of their Service.

Today, the SVC Office was represented at a moving and poignant re-dedication ceremony for the newly restored @scotvetres memorial.
In the Eastern Cemetery in Edinburgh, it carries the names of more than 220 veterans who lived at Whitefoord House from 1911 onwards.

It was a huge pleasure to meet Margaret and Ryan from @ssafaofficial last week to discuss the charity's invaluable support to the bereaved community in particular. As always, the empathy, warmth and compassion of the SSAFA team shone through.
