An inspirational day celebrating the 5th birthday of Scotland's Bravest Manufacturing Company as they were awarded with a King's Award for Enterprise. Research led by @glasgow_caledonian_university evidenced real impact on the lives of veterans working there, including increasing skills and confidence.

It was a pleasure to meet with veterans that I had met on a previous visit and hear how they continue to contribute and benefit from working in a supportive environment. I also caught up with inspirational Training Manager Julie.

Congrats to all at SBMC and @rblicharity on their continued success.

Really encouraging to see high levels of attendance among employers and Service Leavers at the Career Transition Partnership Employment Fair today. It was also a great opportunity to hear an update on changes to the CTP delivery contract.

It was a pleasure to meet Kat Barrett from Wincanton afterwards, to hear about innovations in employing veterans and ex-offenders.
