49% of Naval spouses and partners surveyed said they were not using their skills or qualifications in their current jobs.
Frequent moves, separation and caring responsibilities can all make it harder to build and maintain a career alongside Service life.
These findings from the @navalfamfed support my Veterans and Employment report, which highlighted the need for more flexible and sustainable career opportunities for military spouses and partners.
Their skills should be recognised and properly used.

I welcome the announcement of a national package of wraparound support as an important component of the Veterans Mental Health and Wellbeing Pathway. Delivered by @combatstress, @thedmws and @helpforheroes, this initiative brings together organisations with specialist expertise and a strong track record of supporting the veteran community.
